The main business activity of SAS RICHEUX is hotel and catering. It operates the website www.maisons-de-bricourt.com (hereafter the “Website”) for booking stays and tables. SAS RICHEUX will be known by its trading sign ‘MAISONS DE BRICOURT’ in this document.
Article 1 – Purpose :
These General Conditions of Sale define how the Customer makes a remote booking for the services offered and sold by MAISONS DE BRICOURT. The services proposed MAISONS DE BRICOURT are strictly related to hotel and catering. These General Conditions apply to all bookings whether made by telephone, fax, internet or email. They govern all the stages required for the booking and for following up the Customer’s booking.
MAISONS DE BRICOURT stipulate that the booking service is exclusively reserved for consumers aged over 18 i.e. for any physical person acting outside their commercial, industrial, artisanal or liberal profession activity, and for legal persons, for their needs, outside their business activities hereafter “the Customer”. The Customer and /or its representatives will be liable for any purchase which is outside the scope of this limitation.
Article 2 – Application of the General Conditions of Sale - Validity :
The General Conditions of Sale can be consulted on the Website when the booking is being made. They can also be consulted from a tab in the bottom right-hand corner of the Website’s home page or on the “Booking” page. Before making a booking the Customer states that they have read the General Conditions of Sale. The Customer must accept the General Conditions of Sale and the price terms when making the booking.
MAISONS DE BRICOURT can modify the General Conditions of Sale at any time. The Customer is therefore asked to carefully reread the General Conditions of Sale in force on the Website before making a new booking.
The legal information which is an integral part of the General Conditions of Sale is on the Website:

- The information on the cookies.
The Website provides information on the description and the prices for the accommodation offered by Les Maisons de Bricourt (bedroom and apartment in the hotel Château Richeux®, bedroom in the little hotel Les Rimains, Gîtes Marins®, Kled® de la Ferme du Vent®).
Article 3 – Hospitality - Booking procedure :
MAISONS DE BRICOURT offers the Customer two types of services for making his or her booking :
- Immediate booking through the website www.maisons-de-bricourt via the platform Reservit.
- Customised booking after direct contact with MAISONS DE BRICOURT.
The telephone booking service is open every day from 8 AM to 7:30 PM apart from the annual closure period when a basic service is provided from Monday’s to Fridays from 9 AM to 12 noon and from 2 PM to 5 PM.
The stay proposal is valid for a period of seven (7) days from the date it is sent. The booking option will lapse after this date unless it has been confirmed by the Customer.
The stay is only booked when MAISONS DE BRICOURT receives the payment of the deposit which corresponds to 100% of the price of a stay for one night only. The deposit is 50% of the price for a stay of more than one night. If a specific offer is booked, the amount of the deposit corresponds to the whole of the price of the offer. This condition is also applicable for the immediate booking made online on Reservit.
The deposit is paid either by cheque made out to ‘Maisons de Bricourt’, by bank transfer or by credit card. For a credit card booking, the Customer must return a form with the credit card numbers filled in, either by fax (+33 (0)2 99 89 88 47), email or letter.
Article 4 – Modification and cancellation of the booking by the Customer – Hospitality :
MAISONS DE BRICOURT will return the deposit if the Customer modifies or cancels the booking of a stay more than fifteen (15) days before the date of arrival. MAISONS DE BRICOURT will keep the whole deposit if the Customer cancels or modifies the booking less than fifteen (15) days before the date of arrival or in the event of a no-show.

Article 5 – Special conditions for the Gîtes marins® :
These General Conditions of Sale apply for booking stays in the Gîtes marins® with the following specificities:
- a minimum of a stay of two nights is required except for Crevette.
- the amount of the deposit paid corresponds to 50% of the price of the stay. The balance of the price must be paid at least one (1) month before the arrival date.
MAISONS DE BRICOURT returns the deposit if modification or cancellation occurs more than ninety (90) days before the arrival date.
If cancellation occurs between ninety (90) days and thirty (30) days before the arrival date only half the deposit will be returned to the Customer. The deposit will not be returned to the Customer in the event of cancellation or modification within less than thirty (30) days before the arrival date or a no-show. The prices for Gîtes marins® with a capacity of over two people differ according to the number of people (four, six, eight people).
The Gîte marin® is supplied to the Customer from 4 PM on the date of arrival and must be vacated at 10 AM on the date of departure.
Article 6 – Access to Bains Celtiques® :
The access to Bains Celtiques® is limited to Customers staying in Maisons de Bricourt provided a booking and available places. The booking is made at the arrival. The price is thirty euros (30 €) per hour and per person.
Article 7 – Special conditions for invitations by MAISONS DE BRICOURT :
These General Conditions of Sale apply to the purchase of invitations for the following specificities: invitations for offers proposed by MAISONS DE BRICOURT comprising a stay with or without a meal at Table Le Coquillage®, with or without other services. The invitations can also exclusively cover a meal at the Table Le Coquillage®. Invitations are materialised by sending a personalised card to the recipient of the invitation by email or fax with a duplicate sent by letter.
The price of the invitation is paid in full. The recipient of the invitation must make direct contact with MAISONS DE BRICOURT to make the booking. The invitation is valid for a period of one (1) year from the date the personalised invitation card is issued. In order to ensure the best availability it is recommended to book as soon as invitation is received.
MAISONS DE BRICOURT will not charge any costs if the recipient of the invitation cancels or modifies the booking of the stay more than fifteen (15) days before the arrival date. MAISONS DE BRICOURT will propose another booking date in agreement with the recipient of the invitation.
MAISONS DE BRICOURT will not make any refund in the event of cancellation, or modification by the recipient of the invitation less than fifteen (15) days before the arrival date or a no-show. MAISONS DE BRICOURT will propose another booking date in agreement with the recipient of the invitation, but the price of bedroom for one night will have to be paid by the recipient of the invitation.
MAISONS DE BRICOURT will not deduct any costs if the recipient of the booking cancels or modifies the booking for a Table at le Coquillage of 2 people or in the event of a no-show. MAISONS DE BRICOURT will propose another booking date in agreement with the recipient of the invitation.
Article 8 – Booking at Le Coquillage, Table des Maisons de Bricourt :
The booking of a table (for 1 until 4 people) can be made online on the website www.maisons-de- bricourt via the platform Guestonline. The booking of a table for more than 4 people, the Customer shall contact the service by phone (+33) 02 99 89 64 76 or by email :email@example.com. A number of credit cart will be asked for a deposit.
The booking must be confirmed by the Customer height (8) days before the arrival. An email will be sent to the Customer. Time of arrival for lunch between 12AM and 1.30 PM for lunch and for dinner between 7.30PM and 9PM.
Cancellation of the booking :
- For a table between 4 until 7 people, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will return the deposit if the Customer modifies or cancels the booking more than twenty-four hours (24 h) before the date of arrival. In case of modification or cancellation, the day before, the deposit will be kept by MAISONS DE BRICOURT (amount ??).
- For a table for more than 7 people, When booking, the Customer must send 200 euros as a deposit. MAISONS DE BRICOURT will return the deposit if the Customer modifies or cancels the booking more than eight days (8) before the date of arrival. In case of modification or cancellation, in less than eight (8) days before the day of arrival, the deposit will be kept by MAISONS DE BRICOURT which correspond to 200 euros.

Article 9 – Conditions for the Stay :
9.1 – Times:
The accommodation is supplied to the Customer from 3:30 PM (4 PM for Ferme du Vent) on the date of arrival. The accommodation must be vacated by 12 noon on the date of departure. However, accommodation in the little hôtel les Rimains must be vacated by 11 AM. It is recommended to inform MAISONS DE BRICOURT if the Customer is planning to arrive after 7 PM.
9.2 – Babies and children under 10:
MAISONS DE BRICOURT offers families the possibility of an additional bed in the apartment at an exclusive day rate of thirty euros (€30). Special rates apply to children’s meals. It is recommended to use the babysitting reservation service for baby-sitting.
9.3 – Pets:
Pets are allowed except for guard dogs and dangerous animals. A day rate of twenty euros (€20) is billed.
Article 10 – Personal valuables :
Personal safe are available in every accommodation. The Customer shall use it for her/his valuables. MAISONS DE BRICOURT’s liability is excluded for the theft or lost of belongings that were not being kept in the personal safe.
Article 11 – Prices :
Prices are in euros inclusive of VAT (incl VAT). The stay tax is included in the prices. All bookings are payable in euros irrespective of their origin. Prices are given per room and per day. Unless stipulated to the contrary and/or a specific offer, additional services (Table Le Coquillage®, breakfast, seller, bar, telephone, laundry, mini bar, cookery courses, reflexology, beauty care, massage etc.) are not included in the price. Prices take account of the VAT which applies on the date of payment any change in rate will be applied automatically.
Article 12 – Payment :
Payment can be made either in cash (subject to the legal limit in force) or by credit card (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express, Diner’s Club, JCB). Payment is made on the day of departure except for the deposit which is paid on the day of the booking.
Article 13 – Complaints – Customer service :
The Customer must immediately inform MAISONS DE BRICOURT of any complaint during his or her stay. If no satisfaction can be obtained, complaints concerning the non-performance or poor performance of hotel services must be sent to MAISONS DE BRICOURT in writing within eight (8) days of the departure date either to : MAISONS DE BRICOURT Le Buot at SAINT-MÉLOIR-DES-ONDES (35350), or by email : email@example.com.

Article 14 – Limitation of liability :
MAISONS DE BRICOURT’s liability is limited to activities of hotel and catering. Therefore, MAISONS DE BRICOURT’s liability is excluded for the purchase and or booking of other products and services proposed by other companies such as beauty cares, boat ride, training (cooking lesson). MAISON RICHEUX - DE BRICOURT cannot be held liable if the poor performance of the hotel service is attributable to the Customer, a case of force majeure or an act by a third party which is unforeseeable and unstoppable. Photographs on the Website are given for guidance only. The Customer will not have a right to claim for any mistake or technical error on the Website nor will MAISONS DE BRICOURT incurs liability for this.
Article 15 - Intellectual property :
The Website’s general structure and any element comprising it, in particular text, data, graphic charter, graphic elements, whether animated or not, images, photographs, names of services and products, recipes, sounds and videos are protected by the intellectual property laws, and in particular the law of copyright, and trademark law. They are the exclusive property of MAISON RICHEUX - DE BRICOURT or a third party, having authorized their use. Any total or partial representation, use or reproduction of the Website and/or the elements comprising it, is prohibited without the express prior authorisation of MAISONS DE BRICOURT.
Article 16 – Information on collecting personal data :
MAISONS DE BRICOURT undertakes to respect the confidentiality of the personal data which the user discloses on the Website and to process this data in accordance with law n°2004-575 of 21 June 2004 on trust in the digital economy and the law n°78-17 of 6 January 1978 on Data processing, data files and individual liberties (simplified declaration CNIL n°1831810 v 0 of 28 January 2015).
The data collected by MAISONS DE BRICOURT is processed by computer and is strictly intended for the following purposes: the management and processing of orders for products and services, the management and processing of bookings for stays, the follow-up of the Customer experience, the management and processing of registrations to receive the newsletter, the statistical follow-up to enrich editorial content tailored to users’ needs, the management of prospection operations, the management of requests for rights of access, the rectification and opposition and the management of unpaids and disputes.
In accordance with articles 39 et seq of the law n° 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended in 2004 on Data processing, data files and individual liberties, any user of the Website can obtain disclosure and if necessary rectification or cancellation of the data concerning them by sending his or her written request either by email to the following address: email@example.com, or by letter to the following postal address: SAS RICHEUX- MAISONS DE BRICOURT Le Buot, SAINT-MÉLOIR-DES-ONDES (35350)

Article 17 – Proof, conservation and archiving transactions :
The computerised registers which are kept in MAISONS DE BRICOURT’s computer server in France under reasonable conditions of security can be considered to be proof of communications, orders and payments between the parties. Invoices are archived on the durable medium corresponding to a faithful and durable copy in accordance with article 1348 of the French Civil Code.
Article 18 – Partial invalidity :
If any of the clauses in the General Conditions of Sale are held to be invalid or declared to be as such under the application of a law, a decree or regulation or following a res judicata decision of a competent court, the other clauses will remain in force.
Article 19 – Governing law – Jurisdiction :
These General Conditions of Sale are subject to French law. If an out-of-court settlement is not reached, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
