SAS RICHEUX's main activities include hospitality and catering. It operates the website www.roellinger-bricourt.com (hereinafter the "Site"), which allows for the booking of stays and tables. 

The SAS RICHEUX will be referred to hereinafter as its brand "MAISONS DE BRICOURT."


Article 1 – Purpose

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale define the conditions under which the Customer makes a reservation for services offered and sold by MAISONS DE BRICOURT. 
The services offered by MAISONS DE BRICOURT exclusively relate to hospitality and catering. These General Terms and Conditions apply to all reservations, whether made by phone, online, or by email. They govern all steps necessary for the reservation and follow-up of the Customer's reservation.

MAISONS DE BRICOURT specifies that the reservation service is exclusively dedicated to adult consumers, i.e., any individual acting for purposes unrelated to their commercial, industrial, artisanal, or liberal activity, as well as legal entities for their needs other than those within their activities, hereinafter "the Customer." Any acquisition not in compliance with this limitation incurs the liability of the Customer and/or their representatives.

Article 2 – Application of General Terms and Conditions of Sale – Enforceability

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale can be consulted on the website during the reservation process. Before making the reservation, the Customer declares having read the General Terms and Conditions of Sale. The Customer's acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the pricing conditions is a necessary step during the reservation. MAISONS DE BRICOURT may modify the General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. Therefore, the Customer is invited, before each new reservation, to carefully reread the currently effective General Terms and Conditions of Sale on the Site.

The Site contains legal notices that are an integral part of the General Terms and Conditions of Sale:

- legal notice,

- personal data protection,

- information on cookies.

The Site provides information on the description and rates of accommodations offered by Maisons de Bricourt (Château Richeux ® , Les Rimains® small hotel, Gîtes Marins® Lodgings, Kled® from Ferme du Vent®) and restaurants (Le Coquillage and Le Bistrot de Cancale).

Article 3 – Absence of Right of Withdrawal

The Customer is reminded that, in accordance with Article L.221-28 of the Consumer Code, they do not have a right of withdrawal for the conclusion of service contracts, the subject of these present conditions.

Article 4 – Cancellation Insurance

Before making the reservation and considering the reservation and stay cancellation conditions below (articles 5 and 6), MAISONS DE BRICOURT invites the CUSTOMER to check if their stay is covered by cancellation insurance through the means of payment used to make the reservation. Alternatively, the CUSTOMER can also take out cancellation insurance with a provider of their choice or one proposed by MAISONS DE BRICOURT in accordance with the rates and contractual terms of said provider.

Article 5 – Accommodation Booking Process

MAISONS DE BRICOURT offers the Customer two types of services to make a reservation:

- Immediate reservation on the website www.roellinger-bricourt.com

- Custom reservation directly by phone or email with the reservation service of MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

The reservation service of MAISONS DE BRICOURT by phone is available from Monday to Saturday from 9 AM to 5 PM. During the annual closure period, telephone support is available from Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM.

5-1) When the customer reserves through the reservation service of MAISONS DE BRICOURT, a stay proposal is sent to the customer unless the customer requests to reserve their stay directly without receiving a prior stay proposal. The stay proposal constitutes a valid stay option for two (2) days from its sending unless a shorter duration is specified by the reservation service. After this period and in the absence of reservation confirmation by the Customer as per the provisions of article 5.2), the reservation option is no longer valid. It is automatically canceled without any follow-up from the reservation service.

5.2) The reservation of the stay is effective only when MAISONS DE BRICOURT receives the payment of the deposit, except for specific cases of customers benefiting from preferential reservation conditions.

5.2.a - For Château Richeux®, Petit hôtel Les Rimains®, La Ferme du Vent® accommodations, the amount of the deposit corresponds to:

- 100% of the room price for a one-night stay.

- 50% of the stay price for a stay longer than one night.

- In the case of booking a specific offer, the amount of the deposit corresponds to the total price of the offer. This also applies to an immediate reservation made online through the the website.

5.2.b - For a reservation at Gîtes Marins®, payment of the entire stay is required at the time of reservation, regardless of the length of the stay. The deposit payment is made either by bank transfer or by credit card.

5.2.c - Following the reservation process described above, the customer receives a written confirmation detailing the reservation at the email address provided during the reservation. In the case of a reservation via a travel agency, the stay confirmation will be sent directly to the travel agency. MAISONS DE BRICOURT invites the CUSTOMER to carefully read the confirmation to ensure that it is in line with their request.

Article 6 – Cancellation Conditions and Customer-No-Show policy.

6.1. For reservations at Château Richeux®, Petit hôtel Les Rimains®, La Ferme du Vent®:

6.1.a – From April 1st to September 30th and every Fridays and Saturdays throughout the year, school holidays, and public holidays:

The CUSTOMER can cancel their stay reservation free of charge up to eight (8) days before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will refund the paid deposit.

The CUSTOMER can request to reschedule their reservation to another date, free of charge, up to eight (8) days before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, the reservation rescheduling is done at the new chosen date current rate, subject to MAISONS DE BRICOURT's availability.

In the event of total or partial modification (late arrival or early departure) of the stay, modification of the stay less than eight (8) days before the date of arrival or no-show on the day of arrival for any reason whatsoever, the full amount of the deposit paid will be retained by MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

6.1.b – Outside the periods mentioned in 6.1.a-i, i.e., from October 1st to March 31st (excluding weekends, school holidays, and public holidays):

The CUSTOMER can cancel their stay reservation free of charge up to 72 hours before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will refund the paid deposit.

The CUSTOMER can request to reschedule their reservation to another date, free of charge, up to 72 hours before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, the reservation rescheduling is done at the rate in effect on the new date chosen by the customer, subject to MAISONS DE BRICOURT's availability.

In the event of total or partial cancellation (late arrival or early departure) of the stay reservation, modification of the stay within less than 72 hours before the scheduled arrival date, or a no-show on the scheduled arrival day for any reason, the entire deposit paid is retained in full by MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

6.1.c - For a reservation referred to as "group" (simultaneous reservation of three (3) accommodations or more), regardless of the time of year:

The CUSTOMER can cancel or reschedule their stay reservation free of charge up to fourteen (14) days before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will refund the paid deposit. The CUSTOMER can request to reschedule their reservation to another date, free of charge, up to fourteen (14) days before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, the reservation rescheduling is done at the rate in effect on the new stay date chosen by the customer, subject to MAISONS DE BRICOURT's availability.

In the event of total or partial cancellation (late arrival or early departure) of the stay, modification of the stay (number of accommodations, etc.) within less than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled arrival date, or a no-show on the scheduled arrival day for any reason, the entire deposit paid is retained in full by MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

6.1.d– For reservations referred to as "long stay" (booking of one or more types of accommodation for more than 6 nights), regardless of the time of year:

The CUSTOMER can cancel or reschedule their stay reservation free of charge up to fourteen (14) days before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will refund the paid deposit. The CUSTOMER can request to reschedule their reservation to another date, free of charge, up to fourteen (14) days before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, the reservation rescheduling is done at the rate in effect on the new stay date chosen by the customer, subject to MAISONS DE BRICOURT's availability.

In the event of total or partial cancellation (late arrival or early departure) of the stay reservation, modification of the stay (number of accommodations, etc.) within less than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled arrival date, or a no-show on the scheduled arrival day for any reason, the entire deposit paid is retained in full by MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

6.2- For reservations at Gîtes Marins®:

6.2.a From April 1st to September 30th, every Fridays and Saturdays throughout the year, school holidays, and public holidays: The CUSTOMER can cancel or reschedule their stay reservation free of charge up to thirty (30) days before the originally planned arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, the paid deposit will be fully refunded.

The CUSTOMER can request to reschedule their reservation to another date, free of charge, up to thirty (30) days before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, the reservation rescheduling is done at the rate in effect on the new stay date chosen by the customer, subject to MAISONS DE BRICOURT's availability.

In the event of total or partial cancellation (late arrival or early departure) of the stay reservation, modification of the stay within less than thirty (30) days before the scheduled arrival date, or a no-show on the day of arrival for any reason, the entire deposit paid is retained in full by MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

6.2.b - Outside the periods mentioned in 6.1.c-i, i.e., from October 1st to March 31st (excluding weekends, school holidays, and public holidays), the CUSTOMER can cancel their stay reservation free of charge up to fourteen (14) days before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will refund the paid deposit.

The CUSTOMER can request to reschedule their reservation to another date, free of charge, up to fourteen (14) days before the originally scheduled arrival date, following the procedures in Article 6.4. In this case, the reservation rescheduling is done at the rate in effect on the new date chosen by the customer, subject to MAISONS DE BRICOURT's availability.

In the event of total or partial cancellation (late arrival or early departure) of the stay reservation, modification of the stay within less than fourteen (14) days before the scheduled arrival date, or a no-show on the scheduled arrival day for any reason, the entire deposit paid is retained in full by MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

6.3. MAISONS DE BRICOURT may occasionally offer specific non-modifiable, non-cancelable, and non-refundable discounted rates. In the event of non-use of all services included in the offer, no refund or substitution with another service of equivalent value will be made. 

6.4. Regardless of the type of accommodation reserved, the request for stay cancellation must be made in writing to the reservation service, either by email to info@roellinger-bricourt.com or by post to the attention of the Reservation Service of Maisons de Bricourt at 1, rue Duguesclin, 35260 Cancale. In the absence of a written request, the cancellation of the stay will not be considered. The date of receipt of the email or postal mail stand as proof for the calculation of the cancellation period. Upon receiving the written request, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will process the stay cancellation in accordance with the procedures in Article 6. At the customer's request, MAISONS DE BRICOURT may editate a stay cancellation invoice.

The retained deposits in the event of total or partial cancellation or non-presentation within the deadlines authorized by MAISONS DE BRICOURT will not be subject to VAT (BOI-TVA-SECT-60-20120912, no. 230).


In the event of a stay cancellation, MAISONS DE BRICOURT reserves the right to put the affected service back on sale.

Article 7 – Cancellation of Accommodation Reservation at the Initiative of MAISONS DE BRICOURT

In the event of the CLIENT's reservation being canceled at the initiative of MAISONS DE BRICOURT, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will refund the client double the amount of the deposits received, except in cases of force majeure in accordance with the provisions of Article 1218 of the Civil Code and jurisprudence.

Article 8 - Special Conditions for the Purchase and Use of Gift Vouchers offered by MAISONS DE BRICOURT

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to the purchase of invitation vouchers with the following specifics: MAISONS DE BRICOURT offers the issuance of gift vouchers in the form of a voucher for a sum of money. Since the number of gift vouchers is limited according to the availability of MAISONS DE BRICOURT, the issuance of gift vouchers may be temporarily suspended.

Regarding gift vouchers in the form of a voucher, the minimum amount of said voucher depends on the location specified in the invitation. The gift voucher can only be used at the locations detailed in the invitation.

The gift voucher is materialized by issuing an invitation sent by personalized postal mail or email to the inviter or the invitee.

The price of the gift voucher must be paid in full at the time of purchase. The gift voucher is valid for one (1) year, excluding Saturdays, from its date of issue, including the annual closures of MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

Upon expiration of the validity date, the gift voucher will be permanently lost. It is neither transferable nor refundable. In case of non-use of the entire gift voucher, no refund can be made, nor substitution with another service of equivalent value. To guarantee better availability, MAISONS DE BRICOURT recommends making the reservation as soon as you receive the gift voucher.

In case of cancellation or modification of the reservation by the gift voucher receiver within a period longer than eight (8) days before the scheduled arrival date, no fees will be charged by MAISONS DE BRICOURT. The invitation remains valid until the validity date stated on the invitation, and the reservation can be rescheduled until that date, subject to the availability of MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

In case of cancellation or modification of the stay reservation by the gift voucher receiver within a period less than eight (8) days before the scheduled arrival date or non-presentation on the day of arrival, the gift voucher will be permanently lost in its entirety.

Article 9 - Special Conditions for Booking Stays or Tables with Relais&Châteaux Gift Vouchers, Creation Cards, or Relais&Châteaux Boxes

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to reservations made with Relais&Châteaux gift vouchers, Creation cards, or Relais&Châteaux boxes.

Relais&Châteaux gift vouchers, Creation cards, or Relais&Château boxes are only valid at the Le Coquillage restaurant and the Château Richeux hotel which are affiliated to Relais&Châteaux, excluding other accommodation and catering locations of MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

MAISONS DE BRICOURT only accepts certain creation cards or Relais&Château boxes. It is advisable to inquire directly on the Relais&Châteaux website or via the MAISONS DE BRICOURT reservation service to find out which Creation cards or Relais&Château boxes are accepted at the Le Coquillage restaurant and the Château Richeux hotel.

To book your stay (accommodation and/or table) with Relais&Châteaux gift vouchers, the voucher numbers will be required for the deposits specified in Article 5.2.a). The gift vouchers will serve as a guarantee for the reservation. The same cancellation and stay modification conditions outlined in Article 6.1.a) apply. In case of stay cancellation within the specified deadlines (8 days or 72 hours depending on the time of year), the gift vouchers will be retained in full by MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

To book your stay (accommodation and/or table) with Creation cards or Relais&Château boxes, the card or box number will be required to guarantee the reservation. The same cancellation and stay modification conditions outlined in Article 6.1.a) apply. In case of stay cancellation within the specified deadlines (8 days or 72 hours depending on the time of year), the Creation cards or Relais&Château boxes will be retained in full.

In case of non-use of the entire gift vouchers or the services provided as part of the Creation card or Relais&Château box, no refund can be made, nor substitution with another service of equivalent value.

Article 10 - Reservation at Le Coquillage®

10-1 Booking Process and Modalities

Table reservations can be made online from the website www.roellinger-bricourt.com through the Guestonline interface for a table for up to four (4) people.

For a table reservation for more than four (4) people, the client must make the reservation by phone at (+33) 02 99 89 64 76 or by email at info@roellinger-bricourt.com. 
We cannot accommodate tables of more than 8 people at the restaurant.

To validate the reservation, a bank imprint is requested as a guarantee via a secure link sent by the Guestonline interface; otherwise, the reservation cannot be confirmed. 
Any reservation is confirmed by sending a confirmation email or SMS; otherwise, the reservation is not validated, and it is necessary to contact the reservation service.

10-2 Service Hours, Delay, and Non-Presentation

The lunch service hours are between 12:00 and 12:30, and dinner service hours are between 19:30 and 20:00. The restaurant closes at 4:30 pm for lunch and midnight for dinner. Any delay beyond 30 minutes will be considered a non-presentation, and the following cancellation conditions will apply.

10-3 Cancellation and Modification Conditions:

For tables of 1 to 5 people:

- The CLIENT can cancel or modify the reservation at the "Le Coquillage®" restaurant up to 48 hours before the meal date. In this case, no fees will be charged by MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

- In case of cancellation, modification of the reservation within 48 hours before the meal date, or non-presentation on the reservation day, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will debit €170 per person from the credit card provided as a guarantee.

For tables of 6 to 8 people:

- The CLIENT can cancel or modify the reservation at the "Le Coquillage®" restaurant up to seven (7) days before the meal date. In this case, no fees will be charged by MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

- In case of cancellation, modification of the reservation within seven (7) days before the meal date, or non-presentation on the reservation day, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will debit €170 per person from the credit card provided as a guarantee.

10-4 Cancellation Policy


The table cancellation request must be made in writing to the reservation service either by email at info@roellinger-bricourt.com or by postal mail to MAISONS DE BRICOURT Reservation Service, 1 rue Duguesclin, 35260 Cancale. Without a written request, the reservation cancellation will not be considered. The date of receipt of the email or postal mail stand as proof for calculating the cancellation period. Upon receiving the written request, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will process the reservation cancellation in accordance with the provisions of Article 10. In case of table cancellation, MAISONS DE BRICOURT reserves the right to re-rent the canceled table.

Article 11 - Le Bistrot de Cancale® Reservation

11-1 Reservation process and terms

Tables for up to eight (8) people can be booked online at www.roellinger-bricourt.com via the Guestonline interface. 

To reserve a table for more than eight (8) people, the Customer must make the reservation by telephone (+33) 02 99 89 64 76 or by email at info@roellinger-bricourt.com.

We can accommodate tables for up to 12 people at Le Bistrot de Cancale®.

On request and subject to availability, the Bistrot de Cancale® can be made private. In this case, and depending on the service requested by the customer, a contract will be drawn up to set out the terms and conditions of the service and the specific booking conditions for the said privatisation. 

To validate reservations for tables of more than four (4) covers, a credit card number will be requested as a guarantee, failing which the reservation will not be confirmed.

All bookings are confirmed by a confirmation e-mail or text message, otherwise the booking will not be validated and you should contact the reservations department.

11-2 Service Hours, Delay, and Non-Presentation

The lunch service hours are between 12:00 and 13:00, and dinner service hours are between 19:30 and 21:00. The restaurant closes at 3:30 pm for lunch and midnight for dinner. Any delay beyond 30 minutes will be considered a non-presentation, and the following cancellation conditions will apply. In this case, the restaurant reserves the right to re-rent the table.

11-3 Cancellation and Modification Conditions

The CLIENT can cancel or modify the reservation at the Le Bistrot de Cancale® until 24 hours before the meal date. In this case, no fees will be charged by MAISONS DE BRICOURT. In case of cancellation, modification of the reservation within 24 hours before the meal date, or non-presentation, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will debit €50 per person from the credit card number provided as a guarantee.

11-4 Cancellation Modalities

The table cancellation request must be made in writing to the reservation service either by email at info@roellinger-bricourt.com or by postal mail to MAISONS DE BRICOURT Reservation Service, 1 rue Duguesclin, 35260 Cancale. The date of receipt of the email or postal mail stand as proof for calculating the cancellation period. Upon receiving the written request, MAISONS DE BRICOURT will process the reservation cancellation in accordance with the provisions of Article 6.

Article 12 - Stay Conditions

12.1 Arrival and Departure Times

- At Château Richeux®, accommodation is available from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12:00 pm on the day of departure.

- At the small hotel Les Rimains® and the Ferme du Vent®, accommodation is available from 4:00 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure.

- At Gîtes marins®, accommodation is available from 5:30 pm on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11:00 am on the day of departure.

12.2 Early Arrival

If the CLIENT wishes to have an early arrival, a request must be made to the MAISONS DE BRICOURT reservation service before arrival. MAISONS DE BRICOURT will do its best to accommodate the request based on hotel availability. However, to guarantee early access to the reserved accommodation, MAISONS DE BRICOURT recommends the CLIENT to book the previous night.

12.3 Late Departure

Any late departure will result in the billing of an additional night.

12.4 Child Policy

12.4.a- Supervision of Children: Children must be supervised at all times by their parents or a responsible adult.

12.4.b- Additional Bed for Children: For children aged three (3) to ten (10) years, MAISONS DE BRICOURT offers the option to add an extra bed in certain accommodations. The request must be made to the reservation service before the stay. Note that only some accommodations have the possibility to accommodate an additional bed, and it will be charged at the current rate at the time of the stay.

12.4.c- For Children Under Three (3) Years

MAISONS DE BRICOURT offers the opportunity to install a crib near the parents' bed for children under three (3) years at no cost, subject to availability. The request must be made to the reservation service before the stay.

Article 12.5 – Dress Code

Proper attire is required in the common areas of Maisons de Bricourt. Gentlemen are required to wear pants at the "Le Coquillage®" restaurant.

Article 12.6 – Pets (Dogs and Cats)

Pets are allowed, except for guard dogs-category II, and dangerous animals-category III, and subject to notifying the reservation service before the stay. A daily flat rate will be charged at the current rate at the time of the stay. Pets must be kept on a leash in the hotel's common areas, as well as in the park and gardens. The pet owner is responsible for respecting the integrity of the room and its furniture, as well as maintaining the tranquility of the establishment. In case of damage to the accommodations caused by the pet, MAISONS DE BRICOURT reserves the right to hold the owner responsible.

Article 13 – Personal Effects

Individual safes are provided to the Client in each of the accommodations. The Client must deposit valuable items in them. MAISONS DE BRICOURT cannot be held responsible for the theft or loss of valuables not deposited in the safes provided for this purpose.

Article 14 - Damages and Losses

During the stay, the CLIENT is responsible for the accommodation provided and its furniture. In general, the CLIENT assumes responsibility for the consequences resulting from negligence, faults, errors, and more generally, any damage of any nature caused to third parties or to MAISONS DE BRICOURT and related to the services used by the CLIENT (and the persons for whom they are responsible). In case of damages or deteriorations not reported before the CLIENT's departure (check out), MAISON DE BRICOURT reserves the right to deduct the necessary amount for restoration and replacement, if necessary, as well as any additional costs related to the immobilization of the room during this period.

Article 15 - Non-Smoking Environment

All indoor public and private spaces are non-smoking. MAISONS DE BRICOURT reminds the CLIENT that smoking is prohibited in the accommodations provided. MAISONS DE BRICOURT reserves the right to charge the CLIENT the price of one night in case of persistent smoke odor in the room after the CLIENT's departure, to compensate for MAISONS DE BRICOURT's inability to accommodate a new client in the said accommodation.

Article 16– Access and Reservation of the Bains Celtiques®

Access to the Bains Celtiques® is reserved for the Client staying at Maisons de Bricourt, subject to prior reservation on the day of the client's arrival and subject to availability. Access is an additional charge at the curent rate on the day of the stay. Access to the Bains Celtiques is reserved for adults only. Wearing a swimsuit is mandatory. Reservation slots are one hour long, from 9 am to 6 pm (last admission) from Monday to Sunday. In case of cancellation or modification of the Bains Celtiques reservation less than 24 hours before the reservation, or non-presentation, the full service will be invoiced to the client.

Article 17 – Foot Reflexology Care Reservation

Access to foot reflexology care is reserved for the Client staying at Maisons de Bricourt, subject to prior reservation. The care is an additional charge at the current rate on the day of the stay. The care is paid at the time of booking. In case of cancellation or modification of the reflexology plantar care reservation less than 24 hours before the reservation, or non-presentation, the service will be invoiced to the client and cannot be refunded.

Article 18 - Baby-Sitting

MAISONS DE BRICOURT collaborates with the "Kangourou kids" agency located at 14 rue Théodore Monod 35400 Saint-Malo. Any babysitting request must be made to the reservation service, subject to the agency's availability.

Article 19 – Prices

Prices are in euros, all taxes included (TTC). The tourist tax is not included in the room rate and will be invoiced in addition at the rate in force at the time of the stay. All reservations, regardless of their origin, are payable in euros. The prices are per room per day. Unless otherwise stated and/or a specific offer, additional services (restaurant, breakfast, cellar, bar, telephone, laundry, minibar) are not included in the nightly rate. The prices of these services may be indicated as indicative in the booking confirmation, but their rate is subject to change. The applicable rate is the one in force on the day of the stay. Prices include the applicable VAT on the day of payment, and any change in the rate will be automatically reflected.

Article 20 – Payment

Payment can be made in cash (subject to the legal limit in force) or by credit card (Visa, Eurocard, Mastercard, American Express). MAISONS DE BRICOURT does not accept payment by check. Payment is made on the day of departure, after deducting the paid deposit.

Article 21 – Complaints - Customer Service

Any complaint must be immediately reported by the Client on-site to MAISONS DE BRICOURT. If no satisfaction has been obtained, complaints regarding the non-performance or improper performance of hotel services must be brought to the attention of MAISONS DE BRICOURT in writing within eight (8) days following the departure date, at the following address: SAS RICHEUX - MAISONS DE BRICOURT, 1 rue Duguesclin, 35260 Cancale, by registered letter with acknowledgment of receipt. For additional information or in case of difficulty, the Client can contact MAISONS DE BRICOURT.

Article 22 – Limitation of Liability

MAISONS DE BRICOURT's liability is limited to hotel and restaurant activities. MAISONS DE BRICOURT's liability is excluded for additional services provided to the Client by other companies, such as, in particular, care, sea excursions, training, cooking classes, bike rentals, babysitting. MAISONS DE BRICOURT's liability cannot be held if the improper execution of the hotel service is attributable, in particular, to the Client, or to a case of force majeure or the unforeseeable and insurmountable act of a third party. The photographs on the Site are for indicative purposes only. No error or technical failure of the Site can give rise to a claim by the Client, nor can it engage MAISONS DE BRICOURT's liability.

Article 23 – Intellectual Property

The general structure of the Site and all elements that compose it, including texts, data, graphic design, animated or non-animated elements, images, photos, product names, recipes, sounds, and videos are protected by intellectual property laws, particularly by copyright, designs and models, and trademark law. They are the exclusive property of MAISONS DE BRICOURT or, where applicable, third parties who have given their authorization for their exploitation. Any representation, use, or total or partial reproduction of the Site and/or the elements that compose it, without the express and prior authorization of MAISONS DE BRICOURT, is prohibited.

Article 24 – Information on the Collection of Personal Data

MAISONS DE BRICOURT undertakes to respect the confidentiality of personal data communicated by the Client on the Site and to process it in accordance with the provisions of law n°2004-575 of June 21, 2004, concerning confidence in the digital economy, and law n°78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files, and freedoms (Simplified declaration CNIL n°1668259 v 0 of January 28, 2015).

The information collected by MAISONS DE BRICOURT is subject to computer processing and is strictly intended for the following purposes: the management and processing of orders for products and/or services and/or reservations made on the Site, the monitoring of the customer relationship, the management of registration for the newsletter mailing list, monitoring for statistical purposes to enrich editorial content and adapt it to the needs of customers, management of operations related to prospecting, management of requests for access, rectification, and opposition, and management of unpaid bills and litigation.

Article 25 – Proof, Conservation, and Archiving of Transactions

The computerized records, kept in MAISONS DE BRICOURT's computer systems in France under reasonable security conditions, will be considered as evidence of communications, orders, and payments between the parties. The archiving of invoices is carried out on a durable medium to correspond to a faithful and durable copy in accordance with the provisions of Article 1348 of the Civil Code.

Article 26 – Partial Invalidity

If one or more clauses of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale are held to be invalid or declared as such by application of the law, a decree, or regulation or following a final decision of a competent court, the other clauses will remain in force.

Article 27 – Applicable Law – Jurisdiction

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are subject to French law. In the absence of an amicable agreement, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts.
